Houthis Threaten Escalation After Reported Strike on Saudi Aramco Facilities

UNS- Yemen’s Houthi movement on Wednesday threatened to intensify attacks against Saudi Arabia after claiming to have targeted facilities belonging to Saudi oil giant Aramco.

The Iran-aligned group also claimed missile attacks on Riyadh and vowed to continue targeting Saudi airports and oil infrastructure, signalling a potential escalation in the conflict.

The Houthi claims came after Saudi officials reported a strike on a building in an area housing Aramco’s headquarters, raising fresh concerns over the security of the Kingdom’s critical energy infrastructure.

The latest threats underscore the growing risks to Saudi Arabia’s oil sector and strategic infrastructure as hostilities intensify. The extent of the reported damage and the details of the claimed attacks were not independently verified.
