The Fulbright Program, administered in Pakistan by the United States Educational Foundation in Pakistan (USEFP), is the flagship academic exchange program of the U.S. government.

Ambassador Dr. Ehab described Egypt’s National Day as a historic milestone symbolizing the nation’s enduring commitment to social justice, national dignity, and sustainable development. He noted that Egypt continues to pursue an ambitious development agenda through major national projects that have strengthened its regional and international standing.

The ambassador emphasized that Pakistan–Egypt relations have witnessed remarkable progress over the past two years, supported by reciprocal visits of foreign ministers and senior officials. These exchanges, he said, have deepened political understanding and opened new avenues for economic, commercial, and investment cooperation.

He stressed that the leadership of both countries shares a clear political will to translate their excellent diplomatic ties into tangible partnerships in trade, investment, industry, energy, and other strategic sectors. Expressing optimism about the future, he said both governments are well positioned to establish a strategic partnership capable of delivering meaningful benefits to the peoples of Pakistan and Egypt.

Addressing regional developments, Ambassador Dr. Ehab observed that the Middle East continues to face complex geopolitical challenges. He reaffirmed that both Egypt and Pakistan firmly believe in dialogue, diplomacy, and peaceful engagement as the most effective means of resolving conflicts and promoting regional peace and stability.

He also expressed his sincere appreciation to the Government and people of Pakistan for their hospitality and cooperation throughout his diplomatic tenure, describing the warmth extended to him as a reflection of the deep-rooted historical friendship between the two nations.

Minister Hasipoğlu outlined the TRNC’s position on the Cyprus issue, emphasizing the principles of sovereign equality and the equal international status of the Turkish Cypriot people.
