
MELBOURNE, Australia -UNS : The Pakistani Mango and Multicultural Food Festival 2026 concluded on a high note in Melbourne, attracting more than 30,000 visitors for a vibrant celebration of culture, cuisine and community.
Organized by the High Commission of Pakistan in Australia in collaboration with the Consulate General of Pakistan, Melbourne, the festival was held on July 18, 2026, showcasing Pakistan’s renowned mangoes alongside the country’s rich cultural heritage.
Premier of Victoria Hon. Jacinta Allen attended the event as the Chief Guest, while numerous federal and state ministers, members of parliament, diplomats and community leaders also participated.
One of the festival’s major attractions was the Multicultural Cultural Pavilions, which featured colorful performances and cultural exhibitions representing Pakistan, China, Türkiye, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines, reflecting Australia’s diverse multicultural society.
The festival highlighted the global appeal of Pakistani mangoes while promoting cultural understanding, people-to-people connections and the longstanding friendship between Pakistan and Australia. Organizers described the event as a major success that strengthened bilateral ties and celebrated the values of diversity, inclusion and mutual respect.
