LAHORE -UNS : The proposed dates for Basant 2027 in Lahore have been revised to March 12–14, according to a fresh notification issued by the Deputy Commissioner’s office.
Under the revised schedule, kite-flying would be permitted across the city during the three-day festival.
However, the final dates remain subject to approval by the Punjab provincial cabinet. Sources said the approval is still awaited, leaving the festival schedule unconfirmed.
The latest notification marks another change to the proposed dates for the annual Basant festival, with the final decision pending the provincial cabinet’s approval.
