EDDAH -UNS: In line with the Prime Minister of Pakistan’s vision for the welfare of overseas Pakistanis and on the directives of the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Pakistan’s Consul General in Jeddah, Syed Mustafa Rabbani, visited several hospitals in the Jazan Region to enquire about the health and well-being of Pakistani nationals injured in recent Houthi attacks.
During his visit, the Consul General met Pakistani citizens receiving treatment at Baish General Hospital, Sabya Hospital and King Fahd Hospital. He received detailed briefings on their medical condition and reviewed the arrangements being made for their treatment and recovery.
According to the Pakistan Consulate in Jeddah, the condition of all affected Pakistani nationals is stable and improving, with the injured reported to be making a speedy recovery.
Syed Mustafa Rabbani personally enquired about the patients’ health and assured them and their families that the Pakistan Consulate would continue to provide all possible consular assistance and support throughout their recovery.
The Consul General also met the administrations of the hospitals treating the injured Pakistanis and conveyed Pakistan’s appreciation for the professional medical care and facilities being provided to the affected nationals.
He expressed particular gratitude to the Government of Saudi Arabia, the relevant authorities and hospital administrations for the quality of medical treatment, facilities and special care extended to the injured Pakistani citizens.
Consular Support and Community Welfare
The Consul General’s visit reflects Pakistan’s continued focus on the welfare, protection and timely assistance of its nationals abroad, particularly during periods of heightened regional security tensions.
His direct engagement with the injured Pakistanis and hospital authorities also underlines the Consulate’s efforts to maintain close contact with the Pakistani community and ensure that affected citizens receive appropriate assistance and follow-up care.
The visit further demonstrates the importance Pakistan attaches to close coordination with Saudi authorities in safeguarding the welfare of Pakistani nationals residing and working in the Kingdom.

The Consulate reaffirmed that the health, safety and welfare of Pakistani citizens remain a priority and that consular officials will continue to monitor the condition of those injured and remain in contact with the concerned Saudi authorities and medical institutions.
