ISLAMABAD: The annual 12th Milad un Nabi (SAW) Conference was held in Jamia Masjid Anwar e Madina to commemorate Birthday of Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in Sector G-13 Islamabad.This auspicious event was organized by Anwar ul Harmain Trust and supervised by Prof Hafiz Fateh Khan Chishti.
While Allama Mazhar Mukhtar Durrani was chief guest who gave a heart touching and thought provoking address on the occasion.During his address, the chief guest speaker highlighted importance of Milad un Nabi and stressed upon Muslim Umma to spare nothing for Honor of Last Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
Allama Mazhar Durrani also recited verses of Renowned Saint Farid ud Din Ganj e Shakar who had praised Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) beautifully in Punjabi Language.
Initially, Annual Milad Conference officially commenced with recitation of Holy Quran followed by a number of Naats (Poetic Tributes to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
Anas Raza Qadri was especially invited to recite Naats which he recited with great religious fervor and melodious tone that mesmerized the audience.
A large number of Muslims from local community and other parts of the capital city participated in the conference including Iftikhar Mishwani, Mazhar Sherazi, Afroz Rizvi, Muhammad Irfan, Kashif Aziz, Mahr M. Bakhsh, Shoukat Parvez, Rana Imran, Ikram Chishti and Mian Asif.
The Milad Conference was concluded with Durood o Salam and Special Prayer by the Chief Guest Allama Mazhar Mukhtar Durrani who prayed to Allah Almighty for wellbeing and success of the participants with prayers for prosperity and unity of Pakistan.
