Life threat to Imran, Bilawal,Fazal:Election not possible in present situation:Agencies

ISLAMABAD :Intelligence agencies have suggested to the Election Commission not to hold elections in the current situation.The lives of Imran Khan, Bilawal Bhutto and Maulana Fazlur Rehman and others politicians are facing serious threats.

According to the sources, the threats are very high at the moment.Elections should not be held,spying agencies warns ECP in a joint briefing.

According to sources Joint Directors from Intelligence Bureau(IB), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab, ISI Sector Commander, Punjab, KP and Islamabad, and DIG Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab from CTD participated in the meeting regarding the elections in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The sources said, in the briefing it was informed that the lives of Imran Khan, Bilawal Bhutto and Maulana Fazlur Rehman are facing serious threats while other political leaders are also facing threats.

It was further informed in the briefing that if any party refuses to accept the results of the elections, a new conflict may arise.

On behalf of the these institutions, the Election Commission was briefed on the security situation during the elections in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Sources say that in the briefing of the sensitive institutions, it was stated that the security threat alert is very high compared to last year, the security threats are very high and severe.

Sources discloed that sensitive institutions have suggested to the Election Commission that the recently scheduled elections should not be held in the current situation.
