LONDON -UNS :Sulaiman Khan, son of former Pakistan prime minister,jailed Imran Khan, drew attention during the Pakistan-England cricket match by wearing a shirt bearing the slogan “FREE IMRAN KHAN.”
Several spectators were also seen wearing shirts carrying similar messages, while Sulaiman became a particular focus of attention among overseas Pakistanis as well as British spectators at the venue.
Speaking about his father, Sulaiman strongly criticised what he described as the treatment of Imran Khan in prison. He said his father would never compromise on what he believed to be the interests of Pakistan and its people.
“My father is a man of principles and will never compromise on the interests of the country and the nation,” Sulaiman said.
During the match, Sulaiman was also seen enthusiastically applauding the players and interacting with spectators, as his “FREE IMRAN KHAN” message attracted considerable attention.
