Balochistan Moving Towards Development Under CM Sarfraz Bugti: Babar Yousafzai

“Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti has given Balochistan’s youth a new vision of hope, opportunity and a brighter future,” Yousafzai said.

QUETTA -UNS: Balochistan Government’s Assistant for Home Affairs Babar Yousafzai has said that the province is moving towards development and prosperity under the leadership of Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti, with particular emphasis on creating better opportunities for young people.

In a statement, Yousafzai said the provincial government was focusing on practical measures to improve education, employment, healthcare, infrastructure and access to modern technology.

He said Chief Minister Bugti considers Balochistan’s youth the province’s most valuable asset. Merit-based scholarship programmes are enabling talented students from Balochistan to pursue higher education at leading international universities, including Oxford and Harvard.

According to Yousafzai, the government is also creating training and employment opportunities in emerging fields, particularly artificial intelligence and other advanced technologies. He said promoting merit would allow young people to progress through their abilities and hard work rather than recommendations or favouritism.

Development projects, he added, are being extended beyond major cities to remote areas, with work underway on roads, clean drinking water, electricity, education and other essential infrastructure.

Yousafzai said healthcare was another major priority, with steps being taken to improve medical facilities and establish two modern cardiac hospitals in the province.

He said the government’s development strategy was centred on ordinary citizens, youth empowerment, merit and public service, adding that the aim was to ensure Balochistan’s resources directly benefit its people.

“Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti has given Balochistan’s youth a new vision of hope, opportunity and a brighter future,” Yousafzai said.
