LAHORE (UNS) — Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz’s daughter, Mahnoor Safdar, married Azan Jabbar at the Sharif family’s Jati Umra residence on Sunday, according to Dunya News.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and former prime minister Nawaz Sharif joined relatives and invited guests for the nikah. Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, Punjab Senior Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb and Mahnoor’s father, Captain (retd) Muhammad Safdar, were also reported to be in attendance.
Azan is the son of businessman Jabbar Khalid. The ceremony followed Mahnoor’s recent graduation in anthropology from SOAS University of London.
