Pakistan’s Shaheen-III ballistic missile has become increasingly significant in the current regional security environment especially Iran, Israel,US war. With an estimated range capable of reaching the Israeli city of Tel Aviv, the missile is considered an important part of Pakistan’s long-range deterrence capability.
The successful test-firing of Shaheen-III a few months ago further demonstrated Pakistan’s growing defense preparedness and technological advancement in strategic missile systems.
The importance of Shaheen-III has increased amid rising tensions between Iran, Israel, and the United States. As geopolitical uncertainty grows in the Middle East, Pakistan continues to closely monitor regional developments while emphasizing peace, stability, and diplomatic engagement.
Pakistan has also attempted to play a constructive and mediating role in reducing tensions and preventing further escalation in the region.
Despite these efforts, many in Pakistan believe that Israel continues to adopt hostile policies toward Pakistan and is working alongside India to undermine Pakistan’s regional and international interests.
Concerns are frequently raised regarding foreign-backed destabilization efforts, including support for terrorism and unrest inside Pakistan. Such activities have resulted in the loss of innocent lives and have negatively affected Pakistan’s economic and security environment.
In response to these challenges, Pakistan has continued to strengthen its national defense and strategic capabilities in order to safeguard its sovereignty and maintain the balance of power in the region.
The Shaheen-III missile program is viewed as a key component of Pakistan’s broader defense strategy aimed at ensuring credible deterrence, national security, and regional stability.
