ISLAMABAD -UNS : Shahid Akhtar, the elder brother of former Pakistan fast bowling legend Shoaib Akhtar, has passed away, according to family sources.
Shoaib Akhtar shared the sad news on social media and appealed to fans and the public to pray for his brother’s forgiveness and eternal peace.i
In an emotional message, Shoaib Akhtar wrote: “It is with immense sadness that I share that my beloved elder brother, Shahid Akhtar, has returned to Allah Almighty. I request everyone to remember him in their prayers and ask Allah to grant him forgiveness and mercy.”
Members of the sporting fraternity, entertainment industry personalities, and fans have expressed deep sorrow and extended their condolences to Shoaib Akhtar and his family over the loss.
