Islamabad -UNS:A high-level meeting was held on April 16 between Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi, President of the Pakistan Tennis Federation, and Alexandra Berg von Linde to finalize arrangements for the upcoming visit of tennis legend Björn Borg to Pakistan.
During the meeting, both sides reviewed key aspects of the visit, including event engagements, logistical planning, and promotional activities aimed at ensuring a successful and impactful tour.
The PTF president expressed gratitude to the Swedish envoy for her continued support and cooperation in facilitating the visit.
He highlighted that Borg’s arrival would serve as a major source of inspiration for young tennis players in Pakistan and help strengthen sporting ties between Pakistan and Sweden.
The Pakistan Tennis Federation has expressed optimism about the visit, describing it as a significant milestone for the promotion and development of tennis in the country.
