GHAZI/TERBELA/UMAR KHANA -UNS : The annual Urs and special prayer ceremony commemorating the late mother of renowned spiritual figure Pir Hamid Sahib was held on Saturday in a dignified and spiritual atmosphere.
A large number of people from different walks of life attended the gathering and participated in prayers for the forgiveness of the departed soul.
The participants were also served langar following the prayer ceremony.
Sajjada Nasheen Fazar Khan thanked all the attendees for participating in the event and paying tribute to the deceased.
Speaking on the occasion, participants said that the shrines and spiritual centres associated with Sufi saints have always promoted unity, love, tolerance and peace. They added that such gatherings help bring people together, strengthen social harmony and preserve important moral and spiritual values.
