Nearly 40,000 Passengers Offloaded at Pakistani Airports: FIA Documents

According to FIA, 20,408 passengers were prevented from traveling due to incomplete or insufficient travel documents.

Islamabad-UNS : Official documents of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) reveal that a total of 39,786 passengers were offloaded from various airports across Pakistan for failing to meet required travel regulations and documentation standards.

According to the documents, 20,408 passengers were prevented from traveling due to incomplete or insufficient travel documents.

Another 12,673 individuals were offloaded because of low-profile or suspicious travel plans that raised concerns during immigration checks.

The records further show that 3,450 passengers were denied departure because their names appeared on the official stop list. Additionally, 505 travelers were stopped for attempting to use incorrect travel routes.

FIA officials also offloaded 281 passengers for allegedly carrying forged or fake travel documents. Meanwhile, 176 individuals were prevented from traveling due to unsatisfactory travel histories, while 145 passengers were held back pending further verification of their documents.

The documents also indicate that 258 minors were stopped from traveling, and 24 individuals attempting to seek employment abroad while holding visit visas were offloaded.

The FIA has advised all travelers to ensure that their travel documents, visa requirements, and travel plans fully comply with legal and immigration regulations before departure to avoid inconvenience at airports.
