LAHORE -UNS: On the occasion of International Labour Day, Pakistan Milli Labour Federation (PMLF) organized massive workers’ rallies and marches across major cities, including Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, Gujrat, Quetta, and Lala Musa. Thousands of workers, union members, and supporters participated in these demonstrations, expressing solidarity with Pakistan’s armed forces and vowing to defend the country against any external threats.
The largest gathering took place on Lahore’s Mall Road, where thousands of workers, including members of WAPDA Union, Labour Union, Railway Union, Transporters Union, and Milli Rickshaw Union marched from Istanbul Chowk to Masjid-e-Shuhada. The march was led by PMLF President Mian Ghulam Mustafa and General Secretary Rana Jabran. Participants chanted slogans in support of workers’ rights and national unity.
Addressing the rally, Khalid Masood Sindhu, President of Pakistan Markazi Muslim League, strongly criticized Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, referring to him as the symbol of RSS’s extremist ideology. He warned that any misadventure by India would be met with a severe response, stating, “Modi, you don’t know what Pakistan is. If you act, we’ll alter India’s face. Pakistan’s people and armed forces are always ready.”
Vice President Hafiz Talha Saeed echoed similar sentiments, stating that enemies are conspiring against Pakistan but the brave and resilient nation stands united. He affirmed the party’s commitment to safeguarding the interests of laborers and defending Pakistan alongside the armed forces.
