Peshawar-UNS: Pakistans’ Leading business man,Ex-Senator, Federal, Provincial Minister Salim Saifullah Khan, strongly endorsed the Government of Pakistan’s decision to suspend trade relations with India amidst escalating tensions.
In statement released on Friday Khan said that this firm and unyielding decision reflects the will of the Pakistani nation. “The government has acted with clarity and conviction in the face of hostile posturing by India. This step sends an unambiguous message — Pakistan will not tolerate aggression, nor will it compromise on matters of national dignity and sovereignty,” he said.
He emphasized that the people of Pakistan stand shoulder to shoulder with the state, and that there is overwhelming public support for this bold move. “Peace cannot be pursued at the cost of self-respect. Dialogue cannot be meaningful when the other side continues to provoke and threaten. The time has come to assert Pakistan’s position with strength and resolve.”
Mr. Khan further urged the government to remain unwavering in its stance and to continue safeguarding the country’s interests without yielding to external pressure. He reiterated that the nation’s unity and honor must remain paramount in all policy making.
“This is not just a political issue — it is a matter of national pride. The people of Pakistan are proud of this decision and expect continued firmness in all future dealings with India,” he concluded.
