South Waziristan: Ishtiaq Mehsud Elected President,Mehsud Press Club (Registered) South Waziristan Upper Annual Elections for the year 2023 have concluded.
There was a contest between presidential candidate Rafiq Alam Mehsud and Ishtiaq Mehsud. Ishtiaq Mehsud was declared successful by getting 19 votes. Ishtiaq Mehsud thanked all the members and said that they will serve the region along with the welfare of journalists.
On this occasion, the cabinet was also announced in which Vice President Nasir Azam, General Secretary Hamza Mehsud, Giant Secretary Jalal Mehsud, Finance Secretary Sikandar Mehsud and Press Secretary Rizwan Mehsud were appointed. To make the election process transparent, Assistant Commissioner Ladha Sub Division Anisur Rehman, Police Line Officer Qadir Khan, Political Editor Khatam Khan were also present.
