DIR- UNS: The Mashwani Tribe Grand National Jirga has passed a resolution,according to which there will be no compromise on the security and interest of Pakistan.
‘The sacrifices of the people of Mashwani tribe for the country and the nation are unparalleled’.
The resolution strongly condemned the terrorist attack on Malik Ayub Zareen Mashwani and demanded that the perpetrators of the attack be exposed and brought to the justice.
The Jirga expressed solidarity with Malik Ayub Zareen Mashwani and extended all out support at all level to him. Addressing the Jirga, former Chief Minister KP said that the Mashwani tribes will defend the homeland with cooperation of others tribes and country men.
Peace is essential for development and prosperity in the region,Sabir Shah added.
The Grande Jirga of Mashwani tribe was held in Zarin House, Muskinsi, Jandol, Dir,KP on the other day. The Jirga was attended addressed by President of the Supreme Reconciliation Council, Qazi Aziz.ul. Haq Mashwani, Provincial President of Mashwani Qoumi Taroon, Bahr Bustan Mashwani, Vice President Habibullah Mashwani, Tehsil Nazim Ahmad Shah Mashwani, Ex.Senior Vice President, Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists, Iftikhar Mashwani, Chairman Union Council Sirikot Malik Adil Mashwani, District President ANP Shaukat Mashwani, Adviser to Mashwani Qaumi Taroon Hamid Mashwani, Squadron Leader Safi Mashwani, Nazir Shah Mashwani, Bilal Khan Mashwani and Ameer Zaman Mashwani. Hundreds of elders and youngsters attended the Mashwani tribe gathering.
In the Jirga, tributes were paid to Zia Mashwani, the champion MMA who defeated Indian player in the mixed martial arts world competition, and Hamad Hasan Mashwani, the football player who participated in national competition.
The guests were welcomed according to grand tribal style.
On behalf of Malik Ayub Zareen Mashwani, the elders of the Jirga were dressed in traditional caps.
