All govt funds will be use under public,national interest:Commissioner Gujranwala

GUJRANWALA : In the Divisional Development Working Party meeting chaired by Commissioner Gujranwala Division Syed Naveed Haider Shirazi, while approving the revised estimates of various development projects in Gujranwala, Hafizabad and Sialkot. The Commissioner has expressed the expectation that all government funds Transparent and better than will be used under public and national interest.
The Commissioner clarified that spending the available resources responsibly and honestly is the top priority of the concerned officers
There should be and the government will not tolerate unjustified delay and misappropriation in the use of funds in any case and in case of any complaint, concrete action will be taken if corruption is proved.
Director Development Muhammad Abdul Rao gave a briefing with reference to the revised estimates. In the meeting, a project to build a model cemetery on 40 kanals of land near Hydari underpass in Gujranwala was presented. Chief Officer Metropolitan Corporation Gujranwala Haider Ali Chatha said that this project will cost approximately 10 crores and it is proposed to provide PCC, crematorium, street lights, boundary wall, ablution block and toilets block in the model cemetery. The commissioner adjourned the project till the next meeting while asking for more details of the project. In the meeting, the revised cost of 376.455 million was approved for three public health engineering projects. These projects include provision of sewerage, drainage, tough tiles and other infrastructure facilities in Muradpur (Sialkot), Daska and Bhalwali.
