LAHORE: The Saudi–Pakistan Real Estate Exhibition has opened at Lake City in Lahore, bringing together real estate developers, prospective investors and property technology (PropTech) enterprises to promote investment opportunities in Saudi Arabia and strengthen commercial ties between the two countries.

The three-day exhibition, running from October 21 to 23, provides a platform for Pakistani investors to explore residential and commercial property projects in the Kingdom, engage with Saudi developers and assess potential partnerships across the real estate sector.

Organised with the support of the Saudi–Pakistan Business Council (SPBC), the exhibition seeks to facilitate direct business engagement and broaden private-sector cooperation between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. Its focus extends beyond property sales to include investment partnerships, real estate services and technology-driven solutions for the property industry.

The organisers have promoted the event as an opportunity for investors to examine Saudi Arabia’s expanding real estate market and establish direct connections with developers offering residential and investment properties.

Vision 2030 Underpins Saudi Real Estate Expansion

The exhibition takes place against the backdrop of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 economic transformation programme, which aims to diversify the Kingdom’s economy, reduce its reliance on oil revenues and develop sectors including tourism, infrastructure, healthcare, commerce and real estate.

Large-scale urban development and infrastructure initiatives have increased international interest in Saudi Arabia’s property market. For Pakistani investors, the exhibition offers an opportunity to assess potential participation in residential and commercial developments while exploring the financial, legal and regulatory requirements associated with overseas investment.

Potential areas of cooperation include property development, real estate management, commercial investment and joint ventures between Pakistani and Saudi businesses.

However, the commercial viability of individual projects will depend on factors including acquisition costs, financing arrangements, applicable foreign-ownership rules, investment eligibility and market conditions. Prospective investors must therefore undertake appropriate due diligence before committing capital.

Pakistani PropTech Startup Expands into Saudi Arabia

The exhibition also highlights the growing role of technology in the real estate sector, where digital platforms are increasingly used to integrate financial management, customer relations, sales operations and property administration.

Fortify, a property technology startup founded in Karachi in 2021, has announced its incorporation in Saudi Arabia, signalling its intention to establish a presence in the Kingdom’s technology-enabled real estate market.

The company offers an enterprise resource planning (ERP) platform designed for real estate businesses. Its system integrates financial operations, customer relationship management (CRM), sales processes and property management functions into a unified platform.

Fortify’s expansion illustrates how Pakistani technology companies can seek opportunities in Saudi Arabia beyond conventional property investment, particularly in digital infrastructure and business-management solutions for real estate enterprises.

The extent of the company’s commercial operations in Saudi Arabia, including any local partnerships or customer agreements, was not specified in the information available for this report.

Private-Sector Cooperation at the Centre of Bilateral Engagement

Pakistan and Saudi Arabia maintain longstanding economic and commercial relations, with investment diversification and greater private-sector participation representing potential areas for further cooperation.
The real estate exhibition provides a business-to-business platform through which companies from both countries can explore commercial interests, exchange market information and develop contacts for prospective investment projects.

Its broader significance lies in connecting Pakistan’s investor and technology communities with opportunities emerging from Saudi Arabia’s economic transformation. Whether these discussions translate into substantial investment commitments will depend on the projects presented, the terms offered to investors and the partnerships established during and after the event.

The exhibition is scheduled to run through October 23. Details of confirmed investment commitments, signed agreements, participating developers and the total value of projects presented were not included in the material available at the time of publication.
