Islamabad: Prince Rahim Aga Khan, the spiritual leader of the Ismaili community, has offered to host Islamabad Peace Talks between the United States and Iran in Islamabad free of charge.
The negotiations are being held at the Islamabad Serena Hotel, whose management has reportedly not billed the Government of Pakistan for the event.
According to sources, the first round of US–Iran talks was successfully conducted at the Serena Hotel over two days, with full hospitality provided by Prince Rahim Aga Khan.
For the upcoming second round, he has once again informed the government that no hotel charges will be applied, and all arrangements will continue to be facilitated at no cost.
Preparations for the next phase of talks are currently underway. High-level participation is expected, with prominent figures, including US President Donald Trump and Iranian President likely to be involved.
Hotel sources have confirmed that extensive arrangements and security measures are being put in place for what is being described as a historic diplomatic event.
