PMML President Condemns terror attacks, calls violence in Ramazan ‘enemy of humanity’

GUJRANWALA- UNS: President of the Pakistan Markazi Muslim League (PMML), Khalid Masood Sandhu, strongly condemned recent terrorist incidents in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, declaring that those who spill blood during the holy month of Ramazan are enemies of the nation and humanity.
He was speaking at an iftar reception held in honour of senior journalists in Gujranwala. Party spokesperson Tabish Qayyum, PMML President for Islamabad, Rawalpindi and Gujrat Division Ehsanullah Mansoor, and District Vice President Rashid Ali Sandhu also addressed the gathering.
Mr Sandhu said conspiracies were being hatched to destabilise Pakistan through acts of terrorism. He condemned the reported suicide attack in Bhakkar and assaults on emergency service vehicles, terming them heinous and unacceptable. He added that extremist elements seeking to spread chaos would not succeed in their designs.
Paying tribute to the sacrifices of security personnel, he expressed condolences to the families of those martyred in attacks in Dera Ismail Khan, Karak and other areas. He said the nation stood united with the armed forces and law enforcement agencies in their struggle to eradicate terrorism and restore peace.
Other speakers urged political parties to rise above personal interests and prioritise national unity to counter security threats. They also highlighted the party’s ongoing Khidmat-e-Ramazan campaign, under which sehri and iftar meals are being distributed across the country, and reaffirmed support for state institutions in maintaining stability.
