ISLAMABAD- (UNS) Pakistan have slipped one place to ninth in the 10-team Test rankings following a series whitewash against England, extending a difficult run in the longest format.
The latest defeat has intensified concerns about Pakistan’s Test performances. The team have won just seven of their last 20 matches and have been whitewashed in six of their last 12 Test series.
The ranking drop leaves Pakistan facing renewed questions about how to rebuild a side capable of competing consistently in Test cricket.
