
RAWALPINDI -UNS : A large number of people from different walks of life have continued to visit the residence of late Mahmood Khan Bangash in Rawalpindi to offer condolences to his bereaved family following his sudden death last week.
Mahmood Khan Bangash was a well-known and widely respected personality of the Rawalpindi-Islamabad twin cities. He was known for his warm, friendly and people-oriented nature and maintained strong relationships across social, business and public circles.
His sudden demise has been widely mourned by friends, associates and members of the community, who recalled his services in social, religious and public welfare activities.
Iftikhar Mashwani, Editor-in-Chief of Tribune Media Group, along with Editor.in.Chief,Daily Authority,Zahid Jhangvi, visited Bangash House to offer Fateha and express condolences to the bereaved family.
They met Mahmood Khan Bangash’s brother, Javed Bangash, his sons Salman Bangash,Nisar Bangash,Riaz Bangash and other members of the family and conveyed their heartfelt sympathies.
Speaking on the occasion, Iftikhar Mashwani paid tribute to the late Mahmood Khan Bangash and recalled their nearly three-decade-long association.
He said that whenever they met, Mahmood Bangash always extended warmth, sincerity, affection and respect.
Mashwani said Mahmood Khan Bangash had earned a special place among people in Rawalpindi and Islamabad through his social, religious, economic and public welfare activities.
He added that his services and contributions would continue to be remembered by those who knew him.
Those attending the condolence gathering also recalled the late Mahmood Bangash’s contributions to society and prayed for the forgiveness of his soul and the elevation of his ranks in the Hereafter.
The condolence proceedings at Bangash House have continued, with prominent figures from various religious,Political,social, business and community circles visiting the family to express their grief and solidarity.
