QUETTA -UNS:Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Central Executive Committee member and former federal minister Sardar Mir Baz Muhammad Khan Khetran has welcomed the inclusion of Mir Shafiq-ur-Rehman Mengal in the PPP and congratulated him on receiving the party ticket for NA-256.
In his statement, Khetran said that Mir Shafiq-ur-Rehman Mengal is the son of a great father. His father, Mir Naseer Khan Mengal, was a dignified and respected figure in the politics of Balochistan who served the people as both a federal minister and the Chief Minister of Balochistan.
He added that Mengal’s decision to join the PPP is a positive development for the party. According to Khetran, Mengal’s political vision, strong family traditions, and commitment to public service make him a capable and trustworthy leader.
Khetran further said that the PPP leadership made an excellent decision by awarding the party ticket for NA-256 to Mir Shafiq-ur-Rehman Mengal. He expressed confidence that Mengal will achieve a significant victory in the upcoming elections with strong public support.
He also expressed hope that Mengal will serve the people in accordance with the PPP manifesto and play an active role in the development and prosperity of the region.
