UNS: Iran’s delegation in New York has no plans for further negotiations with the United States, Iranian state media reported, citing a source close to the delegation.
The comments came after US President Donald Trump said he expected further talks between Washington and Tehran soon.
Iran’s state news agency IRNA quoted the unnamed source as saying that no additional meetings with US officials had been scheduled.
“Iran’s delegation in New York has no plans for negotiations with the United States,” the source said.
IRNA also reported that Iran’s positions had already been conveyed “clearly and explicitly” to the US side through a Qatari mediator.
