CAIRO – UNS : Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar met with the foreign ministers of Türkiye, Egypt, and Saudi Arabia in Cairo on Saturday ahead of the Regional Foreign Ministers’ Meeting of the R-4 Group.
During the meeting, Dar thanked Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty for hosting him in Cairo and expressed appreciation for the warm hospitality extended by the Egyptian government.
The deputy prime minister also highlighted his productive discussions with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan and Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud. He conveyed his gratitude for the friendship and constructive exchanges on issues of mutual interest.
Earlier, Dar arrived in Cairo to participate in the fourth meeting of the R-4 Group foreign ministers. Upon his arrival, he was received by Assistant Foreign Minister Nazih El Naggary and Pakistan’s Ambassador to Egypt, Ambassador Aamir Shouket.
According to the Foreign Office, Dar will represent Pakistan at the high-level gathering, where participating foreign ministers are expected to discuss regional security, global developments, and other matters of shared concern.
On the sidelines of the meeting, the deputy prime minister is also scheduled to hold a series of bilateral meetings with his counterparts to strengthen diplomatic cooperation and regional engagement.This version improves clarity, structure, and readability while maintaining a formal news-reporting style.
