Lahore-UNS: In her special message on Father’s Day, Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif saluted every father who loves his children, protects them, and fulfills their rights. She paid tribute to every father who gives children—especially daughters—confidence and courage to live.
She said that a father is like a canopy; he endures harsh sun and heavy rain himself, but provides shade to his children. She added that a great father teaches children not just to live, but to live with their heads held high; and highlighted that a father is a lamp that becomes a light for his children in every darkness.
Chief Minister Punjab said that her father, Muhammad Nawaz Sharif is her mentor, leader, teacher, and strength; because his lap is her first school, and his shelter is her strongest refuge.
She added that the personality molded by Muhammad Nawaz Sharif’s love is axis of her politics and thinking. She highlighted that a father teaches how to live with self-respect and win with confidence.
She acknowledged that a father’s love and prayers remain a protective embrace around us at every moment; and prayed that every child gets a father who gives him the courage to dream and to turn his dreams into reality.
