ISLAMABAD (Sajjad Hussain Shah) In the Senate Standing Committee on Commerce, the members of the committee expressed their anger over the non-participation of the Federal Minister of Commerce.
Senate Standing Committee on Commerce and Trade held a meeting under the chairmanship of Senator Zeeshan Khanzada. In the meeting, issues related to the import of essential goods from different countries were reviewed.
Senator Mirza Muhammad Afridi said that we are slaughtering one lakh cows and goats daily, cheap meat can be exported from Afghanistan. PIA should increase the cargo flights for the export of mangoes.Steps will have to be taken to increase.
The Secretary of the Ministry of Commerce said that there was a ban on the export of animals to Afghanistan.
Ban was imposed, there are fatwas of Taqi Usmani and other scholars.
Slaughter should be done on our land, special quarantine certification is necessary for the export of animals, if a disease-free zone is created in Afghanistan, it can be imported from there.
