Riyadh -UNS: : The Saudi cabinet has called for resolving the Iran-US war through negotiations, underscoring that dialogue remains the most effective path to ending the conflict and restoring regional stability.
During a cabinet meeting chaired by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, ministers stressed the importance of reducing tensions across the Middle East and urged all parties to pursue diplomatic solutions.
According to Saudi media, the cabinet reaffirmed that negotiations are essential to bringing the Iran-US conflict to an end and promoting lasting peace in the region.
The cabinet also welcomed the landmark agreement to end hostilities in Gaza, praising the mediation efforts of Egypt, Qatar, Türkiye, the United States and other countries that helped facilitate the ceasefire.
In addition, the cabinet endorsed the establishment of the Saudi-led multinational maritime defence alliance and reaffirmed the kingdom’s commitment to protecting maritime security and ensuring the safe navigation of international shipping routes in the Red Sea, the Bab al-Mandab Strait and the Gulf of Aden.
