Prince Rahim Aga Khan Arrives in Pakistan on Six-Day Official Visit Amid Tight Security

Prince Rahim Aga Khan arrived in Pakistan today on a six-day official visit at the invitation of the Government of Pakistan, with extraordinary security arrangements put in place for his arrival and movement.
Authorities implemented strict security measures at Islamabad Airport, including advanced surveillance cameras, CCTV monitoring, and special security teams to oversee the arrival. Prince Rahim Aga Khan was later escorted under tight security to Serena Hotel, while security across the federal capital was placed on high alert.
The visit will continue from May 20 to May 26, 2026. During his stay in Islamabad, Prince Rahim is expected to meet Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and other senior government officials.
As part of the tour, he will also visit Gilgit-Baltistan and Chitral, where he is scheduled to meet members of the Ismaili community and review development projects under the Aga Khan Development Network.
Special “Deedar” gatherings are planned in Passu Hunza, Gahkuch, Gilgit, Taus Yasin, Parwak Lasht Upper Chitral, and Garam Chashma Lower Chitral.
