ISLAMABAD :General public facing problems in getting Passport in the country. Delaying in delivery of passports in the federal capital Islamabad are big issue for people. Despite submission of urgent and fast fees, there is a delay in delivery of passports for several days. Umrah pilgrims and students, including ordinary citizens, are facing serious difficulties.
According to the details, there is a delay of weeks in the delivery of passports in Islamabad office, despite the collection of urgent and fast fees by the citizens, there is a delay of many days in the delivery of passports. The passports are not delivered within the specified date.
Due to this, the citizens are facing serious difficulties, especially students who go to foreign countries for higher education. Due to the passing of the deadline for admission in educational institutions, there are fears that the valuable years of the students will be lost.
Apart from this,senior citizens who go for employment in foreign countries, citizens who go to perform Umrah are also facing serious problems. The passport department used to charge a huge fee of eight thousand rupees for urgent passport.
Seven working days have been fixed for urgent, but passports are being provided to the citizens with a delay of many days.

There is a sudden increase, an officer of the passport office told the Daily World Tribune that currently the passport makers have read more than four lakh applications in banding, which is also the reason for the delay in the preparation of passports.
On a daily basis, thousands of people are collecting applications for obtaining passports at the regional office in only in Islamabad.
