Over 160 dead,hundreds injured in monsoon rains

RAWALPINDI -UNS: According to an official report over 160 people were dead and hundreds of people were injured in monsoon rains across the country on Thursday.

According to the report, monsoon-related incidents have resulted in 160 deaths and over 600 are injured or missing across country so far this season. Additionally, 328 houses were damaged, and many livestock animals,cars perished due to the relentless rains.

In the last 24 hours alone, 160 people lost their lives and 290 others were injured. The highest number of fatalities was reported in Lahore (15 deaths), followed by Faisalabad (9), Okara (9), Sahiwal (5), and Pakpattan (3).
