113 Afghan students join National University of Technology 

Islamabad -UNS: The National University of Technology (NUTECH), Islamabad, has welcomed 113 Afghan male & female students under its Specialized Zero-Semester Program. This program is part of the Allama Iqbal Scholarship, fully funded by HEC, Pakistan, and is designed to prepare students for their further undergraduate studies.

The Zero-Semester is intended to teach a refresher course of the basic subjects and provide the students an opportunity to connect with the university community, and explore various academic and extracurricular opportunities at the university.
An orientation ceremony was held at NUTECH to welcome Afghan students enrolled in the Zero-Semester Program. Students were briefed about the university’s academic structure, campus facilities, code of conduct and student support services.
