Monal,La Montana restaurants employees stage protest in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD : Chairperson Wildlife Board has maintained a double standard,only two restaurants demolished in a personal enmity. According to details hundred of employees who became unemployed after the closure of Monal and La Montana restaurants have said that the Chairperson Wildlife Board has adopted a double standard regarding Margalla National Park, 113 restaurants and business centers are working in Margalla National Park except for the rest of the commercial centers demolition of only two restaurants is a personal vendetta. On the other hand, after the demolition of Monal and Lamontana, a huge restaurant in Daman Koh has been given a license to operate within the boundaries of Margalla National Park.

The protesters said that Chairperson Wildlife Board refused to meet unemployed employees of the said restaurants.After the collapse of Monal and La Montana restaurants, while thousands of employees have lost their jobs, the entire area has become a hotbed of criminal activities.

They demanded that all employees should be given licenses to open booths on the land adjacent to Monal and La Montana. If the demands not meet the affecttees will go for sit-in outside  National Press Club, Islamabad.

People belonging to Sohawa, Singhra, Kharian, Makhnial, Ariyala and other areas addressed a large protest meeting held at Monal. The speakers included Raja Shakeel Zaman, Mohammad Saeed Abbasi, Zameer Ahmad Qureshi and others.
