KARACHI: An important meeting was held on the ongoing monsoon system in Sindh under the chairmanship of Provincial Minister for Rehabilitation Makhdoom Mehboob-uz-Zaman.
Provincial Minister for Rehabilitation Makhdoom Mehboob-ul-Zaman has issued important instructions to all officers to protect the public from any inconvenience during the monsoon system.
Provincial Minister for Rehabilitation Makhdoom Mehboob-ul-Zaman was given a detailed briefing on the services of rescue service by DG Rescue 1122 Dr. Abid Sheikh.
At the beginning of the meeting, Provincial Minister of Rehabilitation Makhdoom Mehboobul Zaman praised the excellent performance of Rescue 1122 in the Kashif Center incident and said that the head of the organization standing with his team in the field is certainly a commendable act, it motivates the team.
Director General Rescue 1122 Dr. Abid Jalaluddin Sheikh told about the arrangements of Rescue 1122.
The DG Rescue further said that the services of Rescue 1122 are available at the Sindh Divisional Headquarters, there are modern equipment and water rescue experts to deal with the expected water emergency arising from monsoon.
On this occasion, Provincial Minister for Rehabilitation Makhdoom Mehboob-ul-Zaman instructed the DG Rescue 1122, Dr. Abid Jalaluddin Sheikh on behalf of Sindh government to share the monsoon emergency plan with all the concerned agencies on a regular basis.
The aim of the Government of Sindh is public service and it is the duty of the subordinate bodies to ensure this, Makhdoom Mehboob-ul-Zaman
Hope this time Rescue 1122 (Sindh) is more committed than before to deal with any emergency and provide maximum relief to the people.
Secretary Rehabilitation Dr. Waseem Shamshad, Director General Rescue 1122 (Sindh), Dr. Abid Jalaluddin Sheikh, Deputy Director (Headquarters), Rescue 1122 (Sindh), Adnan Jagirani and other officers of Rescue 1122 were also present in the meeting.
