HARIPUR -UNS: World Bank President Ajay Pal Singh Visits Julian Archaeological Site in Khanpur,Haripur on Sunday.
World Bank President Ajay Pal Singh visited the Julian archaeological site located in the Khanpur area of Tehsil Khanpur, a part of the Gandhara civilization and included in the world’s cultural heritage.
On this occasion, he was received by the Secretary of Tourism Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Commissioner Hazara, DIG Hazara, DPO Haripur, Deputy Commissioner Haripur, and other administrative officials.
The delegation was briefed on the ancient Gandhara civilization.
Members of the delegation appreciated the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Department of Archaeology and the government for their excellent preservation and care of this valuable heritage site.
