Get-together of retired Officers of Peshawar Customs

PESHAWAR-UNS: Annual well-organised get-together of retired officers of Peshawar Customs was held in Peshawar, bringing together former colleagues in an atmosphere of warmth, mutual respect, and shared memories.

The event, planned with great care and dedication, played a vital role in strengthening unity and harmony among the retired fraternity.

The excellent arrangements, pleasant setting, and smooth coordination reflected the hard work and commitment of the organising committee.

The active participation of members made the programme lively and highly successful.

A large number of senior and respected officers graced the occasion, including  Muhammad Amin (DC), Sardar Ali (DC), Zahid Khan (DC), Ishaq Merwat (AC),Haji Zahoor Ali Khan, Javed Khan, Khalid Baig,Arif Durrani,Salim Afridi, Masood Shah,  Javid Akhtar (Mardan), Javid Mohammad,  Ayaz Mohammad,Javid Akhtar (Haripur), Zaman,  Javid Jadoon, Fayaz Khattak,Pir Muhammad Khattak, Syed Fazal Badshah, Muhammad Usman, Umar Badshah, Ajmal Khan Sherpao, Azeem Khan Marwat (AD), Jaleel Khan,  Farooq Afridi, Zaman Mehsood,  Jangi Khan,  Shahid Azam,  Khadim Shah, Atta Muhammad, Mr A.U. Dank, Mr Aqleem Khattak, Rehmat Ali, and many others. Their presence and valuable suggestions added great significance to the gathering.

Special appreciation was extended to Mr Parvez Khan Mashwani, whose thoughtful remarks and valuable insights were highly admired and warmly received by all participants.

The organising committee, comprising Mr Amanullah Khan Yousafzai (AC), Mukhtiar Ullah, Haji Hidayatullah, Abdul Waheed, Syed Naeem Bukhari, and Ashraf Ali, deserves sincere commendation for their tireless efforts in arranging such a meaningful event on an important national day.

The programme not only promoted brotherhood and solidarity but also reminded participants of the sacrifices made for the country, filling the gathering with a sense of pride and inspiration.

The committee also expressed heartfelt thanks to Iftikhar Ali, ex-customs colleague and D.I.G. (Retd.) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police, as well as all respected members and volunteers for their wholehearted participation and support.

Overall, the get-together was an immense success and will be remembered as a memorable and uplifting event that strengthened bonds among retired officers of Peshawar Customs and reaffirmed their shared values and lifelong camaraderie.
