Floral Art Society of Pakistan held its AGM at local Hotel

Islamabad – UNS: The meeting started with recitation of Holy Quran. The General Secretary Bushra Maqsood presented the secretary’s report. It was a brief summary of all the activities and events held in the previous year.

It was followed by a financial report by the Treasurer, Hina Kamran. This time, we were honoured to have Neven Syed, an accomplished floral designer and an expert in Ikebana, as our Chief Guest. She gave a demonstration on a particularly unique aspect of floral art, “Floral Geometry.” Floral geometry is the use of geometric principles—lines, shapes, angles, symmetry, proportion, repetition, and space—to create a floral arrangement. It was a wonderful learning experience as she showcased seven exquisite arrangements, each beautifully titled by her and each a true work of art.

After the demo, Nahida Raza, the President thanked her and presented her with a small token of appreciation.
