Decision Made to Expose Child Kidnapping Network and Its facilitators in Twin Cities

By Special Correspondent

Rawalpindi/Islamabad: A decision has been made to expose a disturbing network allegedly involved in the kidnapping of innocent children across the twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad, as well as the individuals accused of providing protection to these criminals under the cover of law enforcement.

According to highly placed sources, parents of kidnapped children have reportedly been subjected to severe mental, physical, and financial distress.

The sources further claim that, instead of ensuring justice for the victims, certain officials within law enforcement agencies have allegedly acted as facilitators for criminal elements.

Extortion Demands and Serious Threats
Sources allege that the kidnappers sent mobile messages and made phone calls demanding millions of rupees in ransom from affected families.

Despite the existence of what are described as substantial pieces of evidence, some officials reportedly failed to take action against the suspects and instead subjected the victims’ families to further hardship.

Allegations of Harassment Against Women
In a particularly alarming development, women from the affected families were allegedly harassed while seeking justice.

The families also claim that they were threatened with serious consequences and pressured to stop searching for their missing children and refrain from submitting complaints to senior authorities.

According to the allegations, they were warned that continuing their efforts could result in devastating and irreversible consequences.

Appeal to the Country’s Leadership
The situation has reportedly created widespread fear and a sense of insecurity among residents of the twin cities.

Journalistic circles and members of civil society have called upon the Prime Minister of Pakistan, the Interior Minister, the Chief Justice of Pakistan, the Inspector General of Islamabad Police, and the Inspector General of Punjab Police to take immediate notice of the matter.

They have demanded the safe recovery of the missing children and strict action against both the alleged kidnappers and anyone found to have supported or protected them.

They further urge that those responsible be held fully accountable so that the rule of law may prevail.
