Over 10 Terrorists Killed, Two Female Suicide Bombers Arrested in Balochistan: ISPR

RAWALPINDI: Pakistani security forces killed 10 terrorists and apprehended two female suicide bombers along with their facilitator during a series of intelligence-based operations (IBOs) conducted in Balochistan’s Surab and Mastung districts over the past 48 hours, the military’s media wing said on Wednesday.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operations were part of an ongoing campaign to dismantle terrorist networks operating in Balochistan. The military said the operations targeted militants and their facilitators based on credible intelligence.

During operations in Surab, security forces engaged terrorist hideouts, killing seven militants. Additional operations in the region resulted in the elimination of three more terrorists, bringing the total number killed to 10.

The ISPR also confirmed the arrest of two female suicide bombers and their facilitator, describing the arrests as a significant success in preventing potential terrorist attacks.

The military reaffirmed its commitment to continuing intelligence-based operations until all terrorist elements and their support networks are eliminated, emphasizing that security forces remain determined to ensure lasting peace and stability in Balochistan.
