Corruption,fake recruitment in APP revealed: FIA has started investigation

ISLAMABAD (UNS) : After unveiling corruption,malpractices and fake requirements in Official news agency, Associated Press of Pakistan Corporation(APPC) Federal Investigative Agency (FIA) has started investigation on the recommendation of Managing Director.The sources has revealed fake recruitment and large-scale financial and administrative corruption.

According to sources fake recruitment on fake documents and large-scale financial and administrative corruption have been revealed in various departments of the APP.More than 20 people were recruited on fake documents who were being paid salaries on fake basis.

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has started a regular investigation, in which more corruption and fake recruitment’s are expected to be revealed.

According to the sources,Managing Director APP,Muhammad Asim Khachi had written a letter to FIA to investigate the financial and administrative malpractices that FIA has investigating for corruption and fake recruitment.

The different sections involved in corruption have been sealed and investigation has also been started against the involved officials.

According to the sources, the mafia is very strong in the APP, but the current MD is not only an honest officer but also a professionally good administrator, who has not only traced this large-scale corruption and mismanagement in the APP, but also eliminate the corruption and malpractices in government owned media house.

The surprising thing is that in the past, none of the MDs or DGs took notice of the large-scale corruption in the institution, which strengthened the corruption mafia.

The MD is taking positive and concrete measures against corruption and malpractices which will improve the administrative and professional affairs of the institution.
