LAHORE : Deposed Managing Director,Sui Northern Gas Pipeline Company Limited (SNGPL) Ali Javed Hamdani suspended from his post by Prime Minister on mismanagement and corruption charges.
According to sources During his tenure ex-MD SNGPL Ali J. Hamdani failed to stop the theft of billions of rupees in gas distribution, mismanagement ,malpractices in different areas of the company.
According to sources ex-MD SNGPL Mr Hamdani is also involved in financial corruption cases, malpractices,mismanagement in SNGPL.
Board of Directors appointed Aamir Tufail as acting MD SNGP. Former MD Ali Javed Hamdani spent millions of rupees illegally in his office.
A inquiry committee completed after the commercial auditor’s report against ex-MD Hamdani.
Ali J.Hamdani could not present a business plan even after two years.
The sources said that all powers were concentrated in him and had created an atmosphere of fear in the company. He had become personal with the vast majority of senior management. This was having a bad impact on the company.
Ali Javed Hamdani was appointed as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Sui Northern Gas Pipeline Company Limited (SNGPL) in December 2020, for a period of three years.
Mr Hamdani could not give sufficient answers to the questions sent to him, but he said that these allegations are not true and he will give a detailed answer in this regard after a few days.
Despite the passage of several days, there was no response from him.
