ISLAMABAD -UNS: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has decided to remove all wild mulberry trees from federal capital Islamabad.
The CDA has decided to launch a campaign to remove mulberry trees in the federal capital, thousands of indigenous plants will be planted instead of paper mulberry.
The decision was made during a meeting chaired by Chairman CDA Muhammad Ali Randhawa at the CDA headquarters.
The meeting was attended by environmental experts Rizwan Mehboob, Baku team environmentalists and senior officers of the CDA’s Environment Wing.
During the briefing, it was reported that citizens are suffering from large -scale pollen allergies every year, wild mulberry trees affect a large number of people in Islamabad, especially in the spring season.
During the meeting, Chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa directed the cutting of more than 10,000 mulberry trees in thanks giving and said that thousands of new trees should be replaced.
Pollen is a fine powder created by trees, plants and grass flowers and is an integral part of the reproductive process of wild mulberry.
It is to be noted that there are thousands of trees of paper mulberry in Islamabad, the citizens of Islamabad are well aware of the devastation of the trees of the pelvic trees, so for the past several decades, the spring is nothing short of a nightmare for the citizens of Islamabad.
These trees cause pollen particles spreading in the air, severe respiratory allergies and diseases.
Now, after the new decision in the meeting, three new environmentally friendly plants will be removed from the paper mulberry trees.
The move will improve the environment of Islamabad and due to the pollen particles of these deadly plants, the public will get rid of respiratory and asthma diseases during February, March.
