ISLAMABAD:Pakistan’s bilateral relations with Turkmenistan and other Central Asian countries are growing stronger day by day. These expanding ties are beneficial not only for the countries concerned but also for promoting peace, development, stability, and security across the region.

Chief, World 🌎 Tribune while informal chatting with Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Pakistan and Dean of the Diplomatic Corps, Atadjan Movlamov in a National Day Ceremony of Uzbekistan on Monday evening. He paid tributes to Ambassador Atadjan and said “My friendship with the Ambassador goes far beyond formal diplomatic interaction. Over the years, it has developed into a relationship of brotherhood, mutual affection and respect. Mashwani said that”Atadjan has always treated me with the warmth and affection of an elder brother, while I have always held him in the highest regard as a respected elder brother.”
Ambassador Atadjan has played an important role in strengthening Pakistan-Turkmenistan relations and promoting closer diplomatic, political, economic, trade and cultural cooperation between the two brotherly countries.
This warmth was once again evident at a reception hosted by the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Pakistan, Alisher Tukhtaev, where Ambassador Atadjan greeted me with great warmth, affection and respect.
The occasion became even more memorable when Aibek Tilebaliev, Chargé d’Affaires of Kyrgyzstan, joined us. Standing together and holding hands in a gesture of friendship and solidarity, “we reflected the spirit of brotherhood that connects Pakistan, Turkmenistan and Kyrgyzstan”.
The moment symbolised the growing bonds among Pakistan and the Central Asian states—relations rooted not only in diplomacy and trade but also in shared history, cultural connections, social values, religious affinity and mutual respect.
Such personal and diplomatic relationships provide a strong foundation for bringing Pakistan and the countries of Central Asia even closer and opening new avenues for regional cooperation, connectivity and people-to-people contacts.
