ISLAMABAD -UNS : The federal government has issued a notification announcing key appointments and transfers in the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
According to the notification, Muhammad Shahzad has been appointed as Director General, Press Information Department (PID), Islamabad. Prior to this appointment, he was serving as Director General Digital Communication in the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
In another important appointment, Raisa Adil, a Grade-20 officer who was serving as Executive Director General, External Publicity Wing, has been posted as Executive Director General / Principal Information Officer (PIO), Press Information Department (PID), Islamabad.
The notification states that the appointments will take effect immediately and will remain in force until further orders.
The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting issued the notification on July 9, 2026.
