ISLAMABAD : The 10th Grapes Gala 2026 was successfully held at the Jacaranda Family Club in DHA Phase-II, Islamabad, with the support and collaboration of DHA Islamabad.

The event brought together grape growers, scientists, researchers, agricultural experts, students, media representatives, and stakeholders associated with the agriculture sector. Participants discussed opportunities and challenges facing the grape industry, particularly in the Potohar region.

Addressing the gathering, the chief guest welcomed all stakeholders for coming together on a single platform and described the continued success of the Grapes Gala as an encouraging development for the promotion of Potohar’s grape sector. He emphasized that the university would continue to support grape growers through modern research, training programs, and technical assistance aimed at improving productivity and quality.

The DHA administration extended a warm welcome to organizers and participants. Speaking on the occasion, the DHA Administrator reaffirmed the authority’s commitment to supporting agricultural development initiatives and farmer-friendly activities that contribute to the region’s economic growth.

Chairman of the Pothohar Grapes Organization, while addressing the audience, highlighted the challenges confronting grape growers, including rising production costs, market access issues, and the need for enhanced government support.

The event concluded with renewed commitments from stakeholders to strengthen research, innovation, and cooperation for the advancement of Pakistan’s grape cultivation sector.
