The management of this institution is licking it like dirt. There is no contract or bills clearance or posting transfer without under table deal.

The efficiency of organization will drastically suffered and will also create bickering in the organization.

Under the current government, the NHA is on the brink of  collapse. In the previous government, the situation was not so good. In both the periods, the ministers are young and inexperienced, who are being taken advantage of by the bureaucracy.

The NHA is white elephant with the huge burden on the public exchequer present row of corruption, mismanagement, malpractices will further burden the national economy.

NHA is an autonomous body, a service provider established through an act of Parliament in 1991, responsible for construction, operation and management of national level roads.

NHA was established with autonomous status and was entrusted with all powers to levy, Toll and others taxes to generate sufficient funds to maintained and upgrade its network, but it is petty that it is under heavy burdens of loans and the over network is in the poor condition due to lack of poor maintenance.

All developmental fund including PSDP allocated to NHA are loans which runs into trillion of rupees.

It has been learnt that NHA could not implement their own maintenance plan from 2019, to till to date.

The two strategic links N-5 and N-55 GT Road and Indus Highway are in deplorable conditions.

Due to failure of the Authority to do timely maintenance of these strategic links. It will required huge investment.
