Islamabad: Attaullah Tarar, Federal Minister for Information, said that Pakistan has strengthened its global standing both diplomatically and militarily, while accusing India of facing increasing international isolation.
Speaking at a ceremony in Islamabad, the minister stated that Pakistan not only succeeded on the ground in what he termed “Marka-e-Haq,” but also achieved a significant diplomatic victory, presenting itself globally as a strong advocate for peace.
He claimed that, in contrast, India is experiencing “failure and embarrassment” on the international stage. Tarar also alleged that acts of terrorism in Pakistan have not been condemned by India, and referenced the case of Kulbhushan Jadhav as evidence of alleged involvement in such activities.
Highlighting Pakistan’s global image, he said the country has emerged as a voice for peace following recent developments, adding that success was achieved not only militarily but also through diplomatic efforts.
Referring to the Pahalgam incident, Tarar said Pakistan had asked for evidence, but India did not provide a concrete response. He accused India of promoting terrorism, while asserting that Pakistan continues its efforts to combat it.
The minister further stated that Pakistan acted responsibly by expressing concern over the incident, and noted that people around the world value their association with the country.
He also paid tribute to the sacrifices made in the fight against terrorism, mentioning incidents such as the Army Public School attack and the Jaffar Express attack as examples of the nation’s resilience.
